“Celebrate the idea that you don’t fit in. Find your own fit. Stay unique.”
- Betsey Johnson -
This project was born after finding my grandmother's 40 year old sewing machine neatly packed away at the back of my mom’s closet. I decided I needed to learn how to hem my own pants. While learning from countless online videos on how to sew my pants, I took a left turn. I started making bags, pillow cases, quilts, leather studded belts, yoga bolsters, anything that got me behind my abuela’s sewing machine. However, I never did learn how to sew my own pants - I’ll get to it someday.
With my graphic design background, I enjoy making well crafted, interesting color combined items. I’m always looking for ways to morph my handmade bags into something more compelling within the design, making bold statements all while maintaining high functionality. My plan with Rock House Domestics is to create fun, eclectic, and well crafted pieces for anyone to proudly wear at affordable prices.
All my items are handmade while offering a variety of materials to choose from. I strive to bring unique items so you can showcase your own cool style.
